MEETING: Proposed Petro-Coke Gas Plant

A meeting on the proposed Lackawanna petroleum-coke gasification plant is scheduled for Monday, February 16th, 7pm, Daemen College [Map] at the Wick Student Center in the Alumni Lounge.

If built, the proposed Lackawanna gasification plant will spew four million tons of carbon dioxide emissions into the atmosphere every year – equal to one new giant coal plant. It’s time to take the first steps toward creating a coalition that will oppose construction of this plant.
